Putting a moment and eternity together is a bit of a contradiction.

Shiiba is a young, pretty detective working undercover for the Arms and Narcotics division of the police.  To track down smuggled weapons and the like, he has a contact, his “S”.  Between a detective and his S, there is only trust; Shiiba’s S tells him the information that he needs for arms busts and the detective parts with information and exerts influence that helps the S avoid trouble of his own.  Because of the tragic conclusion to a simple grudge (or more likely, part of some bigger conspiracy yet to be revealed), Shiiba is in need of a new S.  Lucky for him, the perfect fit for one has recently been screwing with him, almost literally.

Fujoshi are awful

Well, I’m glad she’s dead, though.

I know!  Prince has to be with Kazuhi!  There’s no need for female characters.

A friend and I were looking at Hotaru Odagiri’s story in Asuka a while ago and we had a conversation similar to the one above from Fujoshi Rumi.

“Aw, there’s a girl in it.”

“Maybe she’ll die.”

“Yeah.”

Male friend:  ”You guys are mean.”

I was half kidding, but that just means the other half of me was serious.

According to 801 Media’s site, Falling Into Love has a September release date and Meeting You has an October release date, but as far as I know, they are not available at any retailers yet nor are they at the local Kinokuniya, which gets graphic novels earlier than other retailers, so I assume a November or later release for them.

Distracted by the Stars…

Well, whenever I go to the local Japanese bookstore with my friends, Jilly and I do look at the serialized BL-magazines. Of course, at the same bookstore, we try to make one of our other friends aware of the subject matter; unsuccessfully though… still I imagine we’re going to persist. How is this related to bl?

If it’s sex that you want, then why not me?

Self-centered Yuichi has gone through so many women that there is no one left willing to date him at the university.  The only thing Yuichi really misses and likes about women, though, is the sex, so studious and cool Kanae, Yuichi’s best friend and complete opposite, takes advantage of his horniness and offers to be his sex partner.  I wouldn’t say that Kanae has ulterior motives, but there is a reason other than pleasing his friend that he offers such a thing:  Kanae has been secretly in love with Yuichi since the day they met.  Unsurprisingly to readers, Yuichi takes him up on the offer, the start of weeks of nearly non-stop sex.

Absolute Obedience: Zettai Fukuju Meirei

Okay I have deleted this topic from my other blog, which I have renamed. Also updated the entry for fujochic. Absolute Obedience is a game that I really want to finish and just say I’ve finished. Jilly has finished this game, even though I had the game earlier than she did. Ahhh…what can I say…I am a pretty slow player. I restarted the games several time and on three different laptops.. (what I just mentioned is absolutely not relevant to this blog entry)

Anyway, Absolute Obedience is one of the few BL-visual novel games that is translated in English text. This is a 18+ rated game, with all the love scenes and nudity.

They lost themselves in each other, and the two of them felt like they were melting together, becoming one.

Twelve years ago, there were two brothers that spent the summer in the country, near Katsuya, who was then just a young boy.  Kazuki, the more rambunctious and younger of the two brothers, made quick friends with Katsuya and the two of them have kept in touch, right through to their adult life.  The older brother, Shio, however, was the one that mesmerized Katsuya that summer, the one he had thought so beautiful and still longed to see again.  Years later, his chance comes when he graduates and lands himself a job at a company Shio helped to start.

Muscle yaoi aka Bara

This is a genre, that I have been trying to show my friends – the appeal that there is. So far it is not working, and I can only see in their minds, that they’re probably indulging me, while I mention it. Hehe.. thinking about Gourry in an Octopus suit for this one.

Muscle yaoi – can be called bara, but that is a name not really recognized in Japan. Bara I imagine, is an American term. Actually the bara I like is targeted for homosexual men. I recall hearing in NYAF, that fans of any type of manga, would only stay in the group, their peers are for. Like how shoujo fans are only reads shoujo themed works, or how bl fans, will not cross over into enjoying yuri works.

These are two external links, that I find very useful in defining what bara is. Take a look here and here.

The first time I realized I was attracted to bara was when I read Tsukasa Matsuzaki’s works.

Still another thought crossed my mind… I really like Kenpachi from Bleach, Umibozu from City Hunter, and Jet from Cowboy Bebop for physique reason.
